Team RhiGus (Ryan Flinn and Gus Burrell) were lucky enough to be invited to join Ciclissimo on their annual shop ride a few weeks ago. Ciclissimo is made up of 11 stores spread across Switzerland and is one of many Curve dealers we have in Europe.It is also home to two of our excellent Curve ambassadors, Tom DeWilde and Xavier Massart. Each store has a unique flavour, community and riding offerings nearby. We recently featured the Ciclissmo (hyperlink for article) on our Ride Library page by ambassador Tom DeWilde.
Due to the number of locations, the Ciclissimo team is therefore rather large, and each year they organise a get-together with all staff and friends to ride amongst the beautiful hills of Switzerland. For 2022, the ride was held on the slopes above Lausanne, one hour's drive from Geneva. The ride took in breathtaking scenery with vast mountain ranges, open skies and the most fantastic mix of roads. All of this, with the gently clattering of cow bells constantly reminding us exactly where we were riding.
The day concluded with a swiss BBQ, beers chilled out of a wooden fountain, and, most importantly, excellent company to swap ride stories from the day with.
