Our Kevin of Steel is here ready to save the world.

Have you ever heard of a titanium superhero? No, Superman is the man of S_T_E_E_L. While our Ti Kevin is staring in the pond, Kev of Steel is defending the planet from baddies. While Ti Kevin is busy grooming, our steel hero is defeating dictators and saving kittens from burning buildings.

Titanium may make a nice piece of jewellery, but swords are made of steel, and are the most honourable of weapons, reserved for nobility. Whether you’re protecting an empire, performing a decapitation or conducting a ritual sacrifice, steel is your material of choice.

Q - Where can I buy such a magnificent bike?
A - Some Curve Partners will be holding stock of the steel GXR and may be able to get you on a GXR faster than we can, you can find them listed here. Q - I've seen internal cable routing CURVE’s social channels. Why did this not make it to production?
A - They didn’t make the cut. We stand 100% behind our adventure bike cable layouts, and believe they should remain external

Q - You rate the tyre size at a maximum 27.5 x 2.1 and 700 x 42 but in some photos, I have seen you run 2.25 or 45C tyres, why?
A - This is a guide only. Not all tyres are created equal or measure the same, there are also other variations that change tyre width such as rim width, tyre pressure etc. So we err on the side of caution in our rating. That said, if you are experiencing tyre rub or not enough mud clearance then common sense will tell you change to a smaller tyre that provides a better outcome for your prefered clearance. Q - What is E-coat?
A - Electro-deposition plating.

Electro-deposition plating uses electricity to deposit a smooth, thin, uniform layer of plastic coating to the surface of a metal part. In our case, Kevin of Steel. E-Coat is a formula combining epoxy resin, paste, and deionized water, which gives the part its protective layer of coating. Properly applied E-Coat finishes can expect to withstand 1,000 hours or more in a salt spray chamber before the coating begins to break down exposing the steel beneath. These 1,000 hours are thought to be an approximate equivalent of 10 years performance when cycling in the sea. When the part has been properly pretreated and E-Coated, you have one of the toughest corrosion resistant coatings available.
