Ride all day comfortably and confidently - whether crossing the Nullarbor Plain or exploring the Alpine regions. The Belgie Spirit geometry is less aggressive and more stable so you can ride longer than ever. Flat-mount disc braking means you can ride on the hottest and wettest days of the year without compromise. Compound Curve seat stays for small bump relief combined with clearance for up to 32c tyres allows for a smoother ride on rough roads.
All frames are impeccably hand built in the Peoples Rep. of China and we are proud of our production partner. So you can ride it hard and fast, titanium must be machined and welded with care and precision. Our frame builders are masters in the art of continuous seam welding and we utilise a meticulous machining process that is accurate to the micrometer.
We are so confident in the quality of our titanium frames that we offer a Lifetime frame warranty. See Warranty page for more details.
At the core of each frame is a 3Al - 2.5V Grade 9 Aerospace Grade titanium tube-set. This grade is optimal for the manufacture of bicycle frames and has been chosen for its balance of stiffness, compliance and durability. Every tube is specifically optimised across each size and model.
Curve bikes have been proven time and again in ultra-endurance races across the world. We are proud to have seen the best Ultra cyclists compete and win some of the toughest events on Curve titanium. Curve Crew, ambassadors and customers have dominated in races including the Trans America, Tour Divide, Race to the Rock, Indian Pacific Wheel Race, LEJOG, Italy Divide, TransContinental and the TransAtlantic Way. |Belgie Spirit or Belgie Disc, what are the main differences?||The Belgie Spirit is designed around an endurance geometry. Somewhat more relaxed, more stack height and a longer wheelbase. The main triangle accommodates frame bags and larger 1L bottles and has further external bottle cage mounts on the downtube (external), and fender mounts on the fork and rear triangle. The Spirit is limited to max 700c x 32mm tyres.
The Belgie Disc has a more traditional race geometry; the rider is more aggressively positioned and the bike handling is more responsive - perfect for crits or riding in a peloton. The Belgie Disc can run tyres up to 700 x 28c.
|What’s the turnaround time for a Belgie Spirit?||If ordering a frameset only, and the required size is in stock, you should receive your order with 2–3 weeks. If the size you need is out of stock, or if you have ordered any custom modifications, the frame will take an additional 6–12 weeks to go through production. Complete bikes generally take 8–12 weeks to build after a 50% deposit has been paid.|
|Do you ship to Timbuktoo?||We can ship your Belgie frameset to you anywhere in the world, however check out our Stockist page to find for your local Curve Crew to help you out with a complete bike.|
|How much is a complete bikes?||Complete bikes are available as custom builds and are therefore priced according to specifications – get in touch with your local Curve dealer for a quote for your dream bike build.|
|Can I get my frame custom painted like Rhino’s?||The Belgie Disc frameset comes standard as a two-tone titanium frame and matt black carbon fork, with a white ‘Curve’ decal. Australian customers can order custom paint for an additional cost. We collaborate with local painter, Bikes By Steve, and all custom finishes are quoted according to the complexity of the job. As a guide: fork only starts from $220, ⅓ frame and forks starts from $950.|
