About Curve in Melbourne

Curve Cycling is a Melbourne-based Australian cycling brand established in 2013. From humble beginnings as a carbon wheel brand, Curve has grown its product range to include immaculate titanium bikes and other high-quality cycling products that will help you explore the world by bike. Our products are designed at our Melbourne HQ with adventure in mind and thoroughly tested in the real world. Our first carbon wheels were tested on the Tour Divide. Our first titanium frame model was tested on the Trans Am Bike Race. Since those early days we have helped thousands of riders realise their cycling dreams, whether it's building up a stunning and timeless titanium road bike for weekly riders, or tooling up for a transcontinental bikepacking mission on a steel gravel bike.

 Showroom Overview

Curve has a showroom and workshop in Abbotsford, an inner-city suburb not too far from the Melbourne CBD. Every day we welcome Curve customers from around the world to our Melbourne home. We have a wide range of titanium and steel demo bikes ready for you to test out on the local roads and trails. You can get in touch with us online or by phone to arrange a test ride - we'll set the bike up for you with any fit details you can provide to make sure you have the best experience possible. One of the Curve squad can even come out with you to show you some of the local roads, tracks or trails. We have staff on site and display models to help you view and understand our range. You're always welcome to visit the showroom and grab a coffee and talk bikes.

Curve also has a range of retail products in stock to get you out of a tight spot or top up your kit-list for your next adventure. We've got tubes, sealant, CO2 canisters, lube, and bike lights. We also have a range of Apidura and Skingrowsback bikepacking bags so you can carry more on your next cycling mission. Curve also stocks kLite dynamo lighting systems, the best lights for bikepacking. We also have Curve products like Walmer Bars and wheels ready to go. With a wealth of experience, the Curve staff can help get you ready for your upcoming cycling plans.

Products & Services available at showroom

Curve has a fully functioning workshop with highly skilled mechanics. Our workshop is open to the general public and we service all bike brands. With years of experience, our team is able to help with even the most challenging maintenance or repair requests. Our mechanics specialise in rejuvenating bikes. Groupset upgrades are very popular and can drastically change your cycling experience. The Curve workshop team is ready to help. There is often a two week wait for workshop servicing requests. You can book online here and the team will get in touch to confirm your needs. Otherwise give the Curve workshop a call and they will do their best to help.

Community is at the core of everything we do. Each week the Curve showroom is the starting point for a number of regular rides (link: https://www.curvecycling.com/pages/whats-on-at-curve). Our showroom is also the venue for information sessions and workshops, such as the ever popular "bush mechanics" nights. We have built a different sort of cycling community; one that is adventurous, inclusive and supportive. One that doesn't have a uniform. You don't need to ride a Curve bike to join our rides. We look forward to welcoming you to one of our rides soon.

"5 years and 5 bikes expertly built and then diligently maintained by the Curve workshop team. Whether a routine service or a complete strip and rebuild the level of service and attention to detail never waivers. As someone who possesses the most basic of bike maintenance knowledge it’s reassuring to know that once the bike leaves the workshop it's 100% good to go and other than the occasional self-safety check and a clean there's nothing other than stress free cycling to enjoy until the next service is due. There is a real focus on the rider and the bike as a whole and a genuine desire to ensure the experience is an informative and collaborative one every time and not just transactional. They also provide exactly the same to non-Curve bikes also!"

"From the day they put my 1st Belgie (rim brake) together to subsequent follow ups, the team at the workshop came through every single time. I have the privilege of working around the corner from Curve and if they are not super busy, they accommodate me every single time. I have dropped my bikes off for safety checks, full services and general quick checks. And each time they never changed or replaced a part or charged me for anything if it didn't require it. Top notch service by the best humans."

"With enough notice (mostly!) they always manage to find a time before a ride event, or just when something's not quite right. It’s great to have a workshop that knows the history of the bike, the wear and tear on parts, and understands the type of riding you do; gravel and off-road riding can be demanding on the bike. Lockie is really good at explaining the work to a "non-mechanic", so I learn a bit more each time. Excellent service, going above and beyond at times to keep you riding safely.  Highly recommend the super-friendly and knowledgeable team at the Curve workshop."
